Paper Pantry

Upon the announcement of Tyson closing, many churches around the area were in contact and wanted to know how they could help people in the city of Lexington. 
A Paper Pantry was organized and items were gathered to help meet needs that SNAP benefits do not cover. With many generous donations from local churches and individuals, our church family at Lex and Camino de Vida EFC were able to serve nearly 100 families during monthly Paper Pantry distribution days. Not much advertisement was needed and the parking lot would be full before opening time. We pray that this helped meet needs during a time of transition and pray that it continues to open doors and conversations to sharing Jesus throughout Lexington!
