November Ladies Fellowship

On November 11th, we had the Ladies Fellowship Brunch. This months fellowship was hosted by Diana Juarez, Tracy Zern, and Maxine Liek. We all enjoyed brunch followed by an introductions game. Everyone in attendance was asked to bring a canned food item for the Micah's House food pantry. With the emphasis on hospitality, each of us took turns, introducing ourselves while picking out a canned food item and shared what kind of meal or dish we would make with that can of food to show hospitality to guests in our home.

We then listened to a special devotion from Maxine that reminded us about the different seasons of life as well as the holiday seasons approaching. She encouraged us all to take the time to slow down, savor the moment, and shift our perspectives to be more like a Mary, rather than a Martha.

We concluded our time with a few more group games and gathering the canned food items for the Micah's House food pantry. It was a wonderful morning of fellowship!
